We recommend choosing an internet service provider or plan that comes with an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) instead of ONR (Optical Network Router).

ONT allows you to use your own routers, and mesh routers in the future, whereas for ONR you will be stuck with the setup until the contract is over.

SmartHome and IoT relies on stable 2.4Ghz WiFi. This needs to be on a separate band instead of being a (2.4Ghz+5Ghz) shared dual band.

In layman terms, the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi must show as separate WiFi names from the when you see it on your phone. Eg.WiFi Names Ne wHome24 and NewHome5Ghz
